Richard Duffield Original Artwork
Richard was born in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire and from an early age was either drawing or painting wildlife. After studying art and music at teacher training college in the 1970s Richard went on to become an illustrator.
In 2000 he became a freelance artist, and although still exhibiting fine art in galleries across the Country, he became renowned for his scenic work. Using techniques and specialist knowledge he is able to replicate the smallest image to a large-scale mural whilst maintaining the intricate detail.
His portfolio includes museums such as Royal Armouries, National Railway Museum, Tower of London and Castle Museum in York. He has also completed work for Yorkshire Television, restaurant chains, pubs and themed venues.
Richard’s collection is framed in 2 different frames:
- Cityscapes and Lakeside scenes are in the silver frame and small white slip pictured near his biography photograph.
- Woodland scenes are framed with the larger silver frame with a large cream slip as shown.
